Information Management – maintains a set of inter-related lists that are used to index and cross-reference each piece of information making it possible to share information meaningfully between local authorities and for you to benchmark against others. All lists and cross-references between them are made freely available so that you can use them within your council and so that suppliers (e.g. of CMS and CRM systems) can use them.
At the heart of esd-toolkit is the services list (LGSL) defining every service that might be delivered by a local authority. Information gathered nationally for each service is made available to you through esd-toolkit. Other lists relate to LGSL to show you things such as:
